Compliance, Conformity and Control Tools
Introduction
This line of research and area of coordination aims to achieve rigorous, comprehensive and flexible results in three scientific areas:
- Compliance
- Anti-corruption
- Control Tools
The aim is to develop events and documents, such as academic articles to be published in scientific journals and academic newspapers related to the research areas.
Mission
Develop an in-depth, up-to-date and methodological view of the field of Compliance and anti-corruption studies;
- To enable the development, preparation and implementation of consistent research plans, in accordance with ethical and methodological standards, with the aim of generating contributions to the development of scientific knowledge in the field of Compliance;
- To promote debate and foster scientific results with the dissemination of research findings in the international academic and scientific community;
- To encourage students and researchers to seek autonomously and responsibly to advance the state of the art in the area of compliance and conformity.
Objectives
- To develop a critical point of view in relation to the production and use of scientific knowledge, respecting the various lines of study in the field
- To seek out and promote dissemination, publication in events aimed at spreading scientific knowledge among civil society, the public, private and third sectors
- To promote the development of thematic lines related to the area of research
- To ensure an increase in the specialisation of existing lines of research and encouraging the creation of new ones, attracting the international scientific community to the study and development of the culture of compliance.
